Q. When does the contest end?

A. All designs must be submitted by September 8th.


Q. With so many designs, how will a decision be made?

A. A community vote will eliminate all but 3 designs. After that, another vote will take place, where three points are available. One point comes from the designers (minus the three still in the contest), one comes from Robert (the designer of SkyOS), and one comes from the community. In the event of a tie, the community's vote will be the design used.


Q. I have a design I would like entered in the contest. What do I do?

A. You need to submit a JPEG, 800 x 600 image of your design, along with your name, the name of your design, a one-sentence short description of your design, and a 1-5 paragraph longer description of your design. Send these by e-mail to hexydes@yahoo.com


Q. When will these designs be implemented into SkyOS?

A. As long as things go according to schedule, the design should be implemented by the next major release of SkyOS, v5.0.
