I wondered, since I don't have a Fat32 partition, and I'm not able to install SkyOS on a vhd (virtual hd) in virtual machine 2004, is it possible to install SkYOS 5 on a vhd?

or vmware / boschs?

I have installed on both VPC and VMWare... Beta 6 seems to work with both...

I think you shouldn't download bochs, bochs is very slow because it doessimulate the whole hardware.

But I didnt try yet to run skyos in bochs.

VPC and vmware work good for me.

vmware isn't free, but there is trial, which expires after 30 days. If you want to download it you have first to register on http://ww.vmware.com/

Edit: No illegal suggestions please.

Fine. Then, just buy Virtual PC 2004... probably costs a couple hundred bucks, but it's worth it :D It's way better than BOCHS (in some respects). Bochs is good, I feel, if you want to emulate an image file, while VPC2004 is good if you want to install an OS from a CD to a Virtual Hard Drive (as SkyOS installs).
