 Post subject: a few questions

i bought skyos a few minutes ago waiting to get acces to the downloads now.. but i have a few questions :)

1. is java running well with skyos ? ( need eclipse for daily work )
2. i saw python is avaible for skyos any skyos related bindings avaible ? ( gui etc.. )
3. i would like to use it nativly without vmware how shall i prepare my system ?
4. are there any plans to support opengl for nvidia/ati gfx cards ?
5. someone working on a wine port for skyos ?

1. No. There is a port in progress
2. GUI? No, anything else? I dunno
3. Make sure you have supported hardware (USB is not supported)
4. Software only OpenGL. Hardware accerlerated is a ways off
5. No.

python gui bindings for skyos would be great i am a dedicated python coder and would like to contribute some stuff ^^ ( maybe i refresh my c knowledge a bit and try to make some )

oh and what soundcards skyos supports ? any chance for my old als4000 ? :)

let's say a few people are trying to port a java virtual machine :roll:

Jikes works, but we don't have any class libraries or VM yet so that's pretty useless at this stage ...
